Sensei Ryan Penn
Sensei Ryan Penn started training in Martial Arts at the age of 13 in Chito Ryu Karate. He has trained at Twin Dragons Kung Fu and at University in Hap Ki Do. In 2004 he began dedicated training with Sensei Randy Horton and Shihan Ric Cameron of Cabbagetown Budokan in Toronto, Ontario. In 2010 Ryan began training with Sensei Mike Mason and the late Sensei Murray Melville. He currently holds a 5th degree black belt (Go Dan) in Goshin Aikijujitsu and instructs at Willowtree Martial Arts. He is also an instructor and trains with Dr. Mike Mandel and Adam Sutherland at The School of British Jiu Jitsu.
Sensei Mike Mason
With over twenty years experience in the martial arts disciplines, Mike holds the ranks of 6th degree black belt in Goshin Aiki-Jujitsu, 3rd degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and 2nd degree black belt in Kyusho Jitsu. He started his karate training with the founder of Canadian Karate, Sensei Masami Tsuruoka. His Goshin Aiki Jujitsu training started with Shihan Ric Cameron and latterly with the late Sensei Murray Melville. His Kyusho Jitsu training was with the late Sensei Gordon Travers under the auspices of Master George Dillman. Mike also trains in Tai Chi, Qi Gong and British Jujitsu.
Kyoshi Ric Cameron
A fourth generation martial artist, Ric Cameron started his martial arts training when he was 10 years old (1950) with his father, a Combato hand-to-hand instructor. He continued his training in Judo with Frank Hitashita. In the early 1970’s he spent 5 years training with Shidoshi (9th degree) Hubert Hood, in Antigua in the Caribbean. Sensei Cameron also studied Chitoryu Karate with Masami Tsuruoka.

Shihan Cameron is the head instructor at Cabbagetown Budokan in Toronto, Ontario and a consultant and guest instructor at Willowtree Martial Arts.
